31st December:
Goodbye 2011 – welcome prosperity:
Year 2011 is ending today and a new dawn of year 2012 is all set to usher. Jalgaon district has witnessed manifold changes during the whole year and in fact, this has been the most promising year for region in overall growth reference. The striving to grow perspective having badly beaten in agonies of politics is no more effective with Jalgaonities harder efforts to usher. Region has witnessed phenomenal growth in educational sector, banking and industrialisation during the whole year. The year brought ample of king sized opportunities to region political icons to shine in country’s overall system and made Jalgaon feel proud to have someone amongst them on top. Long ago dreamt, Jalgaon Airport is all set to have its wings for promising days ahead.
Jalgaon has been gradually and confidently able to gain identity as second next biggest destination in Maharashtra after Pune for technical education with continued arrival of newer institutions and enhancements to intake by existing ones. We now proudly acclaim to have Maharashtra’s only Ph.D. in engineering education begun this year at Bambhori College. The Education and banking sector added with rising housing demands has given a solid jump to real estate sector. Jalgaon real estate dwelling in demands a few years ago, is now at almost 4times to 5times of 3 years ago rates in spite of having no new major governmental setup or alike happening. Real estate rates have more of taken base now and the filter levels are up for quality enhancements in the sector. Amongst other notable upbeat has been region’s government contractors’ uniting to save themselves from bureaucracy led fights largely witnessed during government tendering processes. This not only benefited Jalgaonities in terms of rate control for buying common items like sand for construction but also has equally benefited these contractors by saving their huge sum being eaten up by governmental agencies in name of royalty earning just by spurring lure for better sand collection points.
Year has been equally challenging if we review ourselves with reference to negations around. Human resource on both skilled and labour levels has been of acute shortage levels. There has been almost zero effort from local governments, politicians to assist on the crucial perspective that equally delayed pace. Majority of trade driven and focussing mind-sets have turned technical education as just package earning opportunity rather looking to enhance foundations of students to gather positive energy within them for being self-capable to achieve new heights. This factor equally hampered rest of State and Country’s view on Jalgaon passing students as still to mature lot of students reeling our brand identity of being second the best destination in education in Maharashtra.
It is said that real state of any city’s strength can be best witnessed during its public elections. Jalgaon has been equally unfortunate on this front as it is still to gather and attract its politician to present development and growth as key selling areas. One could still largely witness individual tussles and caste based politics applied largely to conquer the forts. We all need an uplift that sings for our political lobby to think above basic infrastructure as key aspect to gather citizen attention towards them and let them realise the huge lying potential earning unutilised with this strip on eyes. Jalgaon’s mixed Cosmo-Politian structure is one of the biggest asset they hold as key for awesome future.
The quote ‘Profits plays the game…’ if evaluated fully can broaden minds to think above aspects like self-focussed industrial development, citizen centric development with amenities remaining as centre point of development. Enhancing our abilities to encourage outsiders to participate in Jalgaon’s growth by letting them in with warm gesture, stopping self-engaged inflations in real estate aspect and such many things are still key challenges around us.

Confederation has decided to make a State level protest against this tax on Wednesday, 14th December and would have a March at State CM residence. Earlier both Central and State Governments assured of single tax level during VAT application and the same was diplomatically avoided later. The LBT tax being at par with Octroi tax applies tax collection on all local sales and has hectic process to get a refund from Corporation for outstation sales, which practically turns impossible. More of this LBT tax has weakened sales of district level headquarters and has emerged Tahsil places as new emerging sales points.

Urgent openings of Diplomats for growth of Jalgaon region:
Last decade has been a year full of challenge for Jalgaon district in terms of maintaining itself on tracks of growth and positivity. Region witnessed strong outflow of its skills and younger generation searching newer avenues of prospects. Negative sentiments spurred things more rapidly with most of youth entering in business/ industry getting first lesson of region having no more life and avenues to remain connected with it.
Time has evolved its cycle and Jalgaon now has good news ringing around it. Region has witnessed major revolution in educational segment with wide spread opening up of technical institutions offering higher levels of courses. This in parallel had Banking to usher and boost real estate and overall economics of the region. Jalgaon district also witnessed dawn in diplomacy with many of its leader reaching top destinations in country, central and state level politics. All these things combined together have now formed a unique platform for growth of region and with only missing gap of diplomacy and politics to wear visions of global growth.
The depressed industrial sector badly needs political leaders to uplift and hold the nerve of its needs, which broadly include awareness and support on labour availability and handling related concerns. If we evaluate growth cycles of all our neighbouring districts including Aurangabad, Nashik and Amravati, one would easily find the differential factor. When we have strong traders’ fraternity, entrepreneurs with zealous approach, all infrastructural facilities (which includes airport as well now) and the best geographical location and leaders having their own big base in form of significant sized establishments, can’t we overcome this single dwelling hurdle in our growth?
We have urgent openings for such visionaries to gear up and lay the foundation of Jalgaon of tomorrow as if this milestone is missed, we might be required to wait for another cycle to happen, may be after 15-20 odd years again. Such opening would attract amazing long-term rewards like fame, renown and prosperity for everyone around them and would equally avail a new platform to place themselves as powerful icons for generations ahead.
