Electricity discrepancies paralyse drinking water supply:

Currently Corporation is availing drinking water supplies to city after every 3 days and that too in low pressure. This results in huge queues, no water supplies in many of internal and remote houses and areas causing shortages. Drinking water supply has led to chaotic "Watermania" to Jalgaonities wherein most of women leave apart just everything to get water to regulate their routine work. Private Tanker supplies see this as glooming business opportunity and have increased supply rate for a 2,000 liters tank from 150 to 200 rupees in last month. There is no standard mechanism defined by Corporation to avail water support for non-water reaching areas apart from traditional bureaucratic means of under-table dealings to get smooth supplies or alternative connections.
