12th February:
Business associations and Corporation Octroi tussle begins:

With Enforcement of Octroi tax in Jalgaon from 11th February, the businesses in city are finding themselves dwelling on octroi front. The associations have charged Private party contractor of levying heavy taxation rates and market rates for octroi calculation from traders. The associations have called for a meeting on Tuesday, 14th February morning and has urged all businesses to keep their shops closed till 12pm on that day.
The Corporation on other hand has announced octroi waiver for all kinds of vegetables, LPG gas and 1% octroi for industrial raw materials. All new industries setting up in Jalgaon will receive 3 years octroi waiver followed by another 2 years 50% discounting package.
As the octroi tax is being levied in Jalgaon after so many years, the Corporation Administration need to come up with a well documented leaflet having all commodities octroi rates on one side and key rules and regulations on the another side of the page. Instead of giving some high budget advertisement the Corporation could come up with this cost effective information leaflet circulated by means of local newspapers. This information sharing would considerably improve information of traders and could possibly avoid mishandling of traders chaos on levying of octroi.
Trade associations on other fronts have a strange protest not against the Corporation but against State Government failing its promise of no Octroi in Jalgaon for 5 years from the date of Corporation formation. The State Government quoting bad hands on finances to compensate Corporation for Octroi is on other hand paying Intrest on Vehicle Loans taken by MLA. How strange and unrealistic imbalance this is on managing State Governments and Corporations?

Railways need a business model review:
Railways emergency time travel or later planned travel reminds all of us with embarrassment faced on making 'Babus' happy. Making the black coat wearing Train Ticket Examiners happy and allocate us a seat has been hardest experience. The most annoying situation is when our tickets remains wait listed and nobody is there to hear us and pain we face is enormous.
The Railways making best utilisation of technology needs to review its business module to understand their customer needs so as it would create a better smile on their customer faces rather than making 'Babu' feel happy and rich. Amongst further really helping steps would include availing of railway tickets through Private parties at more than one place to improve quality of services to customer, improving its website's funny logics so as it becomes more of friendly than a tedious experience.
There are over 300+ wait listed passengers in every train having paid full money and even then do not get even some space to seat. Railways need to introduce a chair car coach in every train to accommodate this large number of commuters. Introduction of this coach would help them to get at least sitting space and safety of their luggage and avoid fuss being faced specially while having families with them.
We are a Nation developing on our calibre and hence there should be no loopholes left in our business models to help bureaucracy grow up and getting richer by looting our genuineness. Railways need to follow 'Customer as King' approach rather than 'Customer as needy' trend to revolutionise and benefit technology to end points.

Every smallest to elder most receives honour by adding the word 'Sa' whenever calling by name.
The region is rich enough to fulfil and provide breads to its natives. It has rich resource for a variety of stones that are largely used in construction. Availability of such stones along with mass foreign tourism has opened up a large window of handicrafts world to creative minds of this belt. The Handicrafts export has become one of largest businesses of this region with more and more firms flowing in the trend.
Praises are pathway to improvement and the region needs to make a fine balance of its values with its medicinal aspects especially on Food front. The region has alarming number of patients having high Sugar levels in body due to heavy eating of sweets added with Ghee. The oil added preparations along with the hazardous Papad eating habit are largely seen in public functions and gatherings. These people need to make check of their eating habits to balance with dietary aspects to keep themselves healthy and fit always.
