31st December:
Welcome 2007: Goodbye 2006:
The Year 2006 is sun setting today with its cherished memories of wonderful monsoon and prosperity all around. The region witnessed record-breaking Monsoon raining in entire District while also had pouring that severely affected agricultural produces and standing crop. The District including Khandesh region has received hefty funds from State under Khandesh Package funds for completion of various Irrigation and delayed projects. The Waghur dam work in full pace led a piece of comfort to Jalgaonities over long-discussed drinking-Water issue. The Electricity front remained worsen with disastrous state of electricity. The entire region earlier having just 2/3 hours daily power cuts under load shedding programme now has over 6 hours load shedding daily in urban areas and daily 12/16 hours cuts in rural areas. The situation worsens further with no concrete plans to resolve this issue. The year 2006 came up with Bird Flu and Chicken Gunya kind of dangerous viral diseases in district.
Jalgaon's city much talked Octroi issue finally got a green signal with private party beginning its Tax Collection. The Octroi tax issue led to strong protest from Trade Community that included protest strikes, marches to State Assembly, legal battle in High Court bench Aurangabad. District apex Co-operative Bank JDCC Bank ruled by Co-operative Department administration remained much discussed entity in Co-operative sector. The Bank sent notices and possessed many large-scale co-operative establishments including Sugar factories and Corporation.
Amongst other major equations and news that influence Jalgaon was delimitation commission of India notification announcing changes in geographical boundaries of Assembly and Parliamentary seats. State Level Cricket Competition: Jalgaon Vs Nanded match enters interesting situation:
The MCA sponsored District Cricket Association organised Under-15 State Level cricket competition had Nanded Vs Jalgaon match in interest state. The Jalgaon Team scored 216 runs in 65.4 over in first inning wherein Nanded scored 130/5 on end of day's play. Jalgaon's Vishal Pawar scored 61 and Nikhil Patil scored 47 runs.

ZP Elections: State EC to study Candidates withdrawing Nominations:
The State Election Commission has announced conducting a special check of candidates withdrawing their nominations in upcoming ZP Elections in various districts in State including Jalgaon. The recent Order from State EC has also clarified Ruling parties doubt relating to Election Code of Conduct during controlling viral diseases spread.

30th December:
Cycle, Marathon competition in Jalgaon:

District Office and Nutan Maratha College organises 'Goverment Intraschool District Level Cycle and Marathon competition. The competition was conducted in two groups both for boys and girls and 300 players were participated in competition. It was started from 'Shirsoli Chowk'.

2000 students were departing for Calcutta Rally:
For the 100th 'Jambhori Scout and Guide' Rally 2000 students were departed towards the Calcutta. All the students were departed from Bhusawal station by 'Jambhori Express'.The Rally is from 1st Jan to 8th Jan.

Maharashtra will get Extra Electricity from 'Narmada Dam':
Currently height of the Narmada dam is 114 metre and by increasing this height to 121.92 metre the water level will also increase to 118 metre and more electricity will be generated. The generated electricity is beneficial to Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh.

Jalgaon District's organic Cotton First time in Europe:
In Jalgaon District's 200 farmer's 1,062 quintals of organic cotton will export first time in Germany and Europe country. Jaipur's 'Morarka Foundation' (Jalgaon) and 'Samrudhi Farming Ltd.' both this organization purchased the organic cotton and the 'Geneing' and 'Pressing' processing is done by using organic methods at Dhule.
On the demand from Europe countries organic cotton will be export and it will also used for making the cloth.

Rules for MBA and MMS Admission Process:
The Directorate of Technical Board declared rules for the admission process for the course MBA, MMS for the next year. In this year their will be four rounds of centralise admission process and for the students complaints colleges option will be increase in next round.

The Dhule's "Vidya Vardhini" college organises the state level Intra College Debate Competition on 30th Dec. The subject for the competition is

29th December:
Electricity can be generated by Scooter: Satish Patil

They developed a new technology-'charge the inverter by using a scooter'. This technique they are used for domestic electricity. To use this technique we need only battery, inverter, belt, and wheel. By using this we generate a electricity and on that generated electricity we use 4 tubes,2 zero bulb and one fan.

State Drama Competition:
In this competition 'Janta Lalit Kala Academy' presented a 'Samarpit' drama to focus on Ramabai's thoughts of social enlightment. The producer of that drama is 'Khandesh Natya Pratishthan'. Today 'Disha Bahuuddeshiya sanstha represents the drama named 'Topi Khali Dadlay Kay?'

Dr. Lohar participated in International conference:
At Madurai 'Lady Dok' college's Zoology department organises the international conference. For this, Dr.P.S.Lohar presented a search seminar.

'Air-Deccan' company eager to start Aircraft service in Jalgaon:
'Air-Deccan' company gives the proposal for starting an aircraft service in Jalgaon city to reach the main cities. For this service an airport will be ready at end of august month. The company has surety that Jalgaon is one of the important commercial city in Maharashtra and from this we get good response of passengers.

The Art of Living establishes a "World Alliances for Youth Empowerment" (WAYE-Yuvratri) for new generation youth. In future WAYE will work for social problems such as poverty, Environment, corruption etc.

Jamner won the Shooting Ball Competition:
Faizpur (Yawal) organizes the 'District Level Shooting Ball' competition. In this competition 16 teams were participated among them Jamner's M. Aazad Club won the competition by beating the M.I.Club of Bhusawal by 5-16,10-16.The 'Best Shooter' prizes goes to the Yunus Shaikh and Alim Shaikh.

National Level Chess Competition: Pratik Patil won 3 Marks
In the National Level Chess Competition, Jain Sports Academy's Pratik Patil won the 3 marks upto the 5 rounds. Upto he won the 2 matches, equals in 2 and loose 1 match. The competition is organized by Hariyana All India Chess Federation and Hariyana Chess Organisation.

Central Goverment aid for development of Mehrun Lake:

In the meeting of standing committee on Wednesday the decision was taken that from the Central Goverments aid 70% aid will be for the development of Mehrun Lake. For this Mumbai's 'Reliable Enterprises' will make the proposal and the contractor will be invited for further discussion regarding this.

Jalgaon No. 1 in Mat Production: Top in Export
Jalgaon district is very known to all for bananas, Gold and Dal business and now it add its name in "Mat Production". The Mat production was started in Jalgaon from year 1990 but the actual growth for this business from 1995.
In Jalgaon MIDC area there are main 60 units and 100 factories for the mat production.
The skilled workers and entrepreneurs are work in 'Team Work' and they establish a 'Quality Skill Work' in the region. Because of this only Jalgaon's Mat have very 'demand' in foreign country. Jalgaon is at top rank for exports in mat throughout the world.

NMU establishes B.Ed branch in New Year:
In year 2007 the NMU set ups the new B.ed. Branch and Master in Physical Education (M.P.Ed) branch and it will be gift for the students on the occasion of New Year said the NMU chancellor Dr.K.B.Patil.

Truck Accident: 4 wokers were die
On the Jamner-Bhusawal road on Wednesday morning the truck was overturned. In this accident 4 workers of Amoda (Yawal) were die and 16 workers are very serious.

27th December:
One Act Play Competition: 'The Fear Factor' won the first prize

'Sambhodhi Academy' organizes 3rd state level one-act play competition.
In this competition Aurangabad's Dr. Ambedkar dramatics section won the first prize for "The Fear Factor" one act play. The second prize won the Ambejogai's
Ramkrishna Kalamanch and third prize to Sharada College of Parabhani.

Shane Warne completed one more Milestone: 704 wickets in Tests

State Level devotional song competition:
'Prashant Damale Fan Foundation' and 'Lokmat' conducted a state leve devotional song competition. In this competition Ratnagiri's Prathamesh Laghate and Parbhani's Neha Bhabale won the first prize. Christmas festival was celebrated enthusiastically. On this festival all the churches in city are decorated and various schools conduct the programs.In the evening students were took off the rally and Santa Clause gave them chocolates, toys etc. In Saint Thomas, Saint Alliances church collectively pray was took off.

Mayors, Vice-mayors selection today:
Jalgaon districts 12 corporations Mayor and vice-mayor selection is today in its own corporation meeting at 1 pm. Bhusawal Mayor will not be declared because of the court decision.
After declaration of Mayors their will not be any special meeting for the selection of vice-mayors. It will be declare by the Mayors in the very first meeting.

India Order for 300 tanks:
For the remaining test of 'Arjun' tank India gave the order for 300 tanks of 'T-90'type. This T-90 tanks were designed in Russia and for that 300 Tanks India will have to pay Rs. 3,900 crores.

The state drama competition was in 'BalGandharv Open Hall' .On 25th Dec. Nutan Maratha College presented a drama on politics subject 'Maina Bole…Raghul Dole…Hole Hole' Today M.J.College will present a drama 'Aahe madan Tarihi'.

Rumour of reduce the Gold rate:
In Jalgaon the rumour was spread that the gold rate was reduced upto 1000 Rs/10gm.Because of this rumour all people made a crowd in jewellery market.

25th December:
"Divya Samaj Nirman" course starts on 5 Jan:

The local branch of 'Art of Living' starts "Divya Samaj Nirman" (DSN) course from 5th January. Those who completed part I of this course can also take part in a course. The course will be conducted in "Bhartiya Jain Organisation's Hall from 5 to 7 Jan starts from morning 6 am to 10pm.

State Level Cricket Competition:
Cadence Cricket Academy beat the Jalgaon team in a state level cricket competition under 15.From cadence team Chirag Khurana took 11 wickets in a match and won the Man of the Match Award.

Success of 'Jain Sports Academy' Players:

'Jain Sports Academy' players shows the tremendous performance in North Maharashtra Sketting Competition which was held at Nashik and achieved the great success in this competition. The competition was on Kilbil School's Sketting road. The competition was conducted in Sketting type- Artistic Free style.

State Level Cricket competition starts today:
Maharashtra Cricket Association hosting the state level Cricket competition for the Under 15 and it starts on 23rd December. The competition is on the 'Police Parade Ground' and Jalgaon team will play its first match against Cadence Academy Pune today itself.

Out of 139 suicided farmers only 59 farmers family get help:
In Khandesh region throughout 3 districts 139 farmers were suicided in last year among those only 59 farmers family are eligible to get help.
In jalgaon district 82 farmers were suicided upto 20 December and only 39 farmers will get help. Also in Dhule and Nandurbar district 39 and 14 farmers suicided out of those only 13 and 8 farmers get help respectively.

The in auguration of this competition is held on 22nd December at evening on the Agrasen Lawn. From the all over Maharashtra 700 Lawyers and 500 Lawyers are participated within Dhule District. All the matches are held on the Chavara high-school, SSVPS College, SSP etc ground. The competition is upto 26th December.

Z.P. Elections in February:
In Maharashtra there will be elections of 27 Z.P. and 310 Panchayat samitee's which under them. The elections are conducted in two steps-
The first 12 Z.P elections are on the 11 Feb and remaining 17 Z.P. on the 14 Feb.In this election they use Electronic Voting Machine and result of both will be declared on the 16th Feb.

World's Largest 'Dal Project' in Jalgaon:

In Rajkot the National Level Competition was held on 1 Dec to 3 Dec in
the shri. M.V. and N.V. Colleges for the 'Aatmiya Sytake 2006. In this competition Nilesh Gangurde has won the second prize for the search paper presentation and Chandrashekhar Patil and Umesh Patil both won the prizes for the demo presentations.

21st December:

Independent forums registration chaos continues:
The newly formed Independent forum equation continues to trouble administration and winning candidates even after State's recent GR relating to such groups. The newly received GR has failed to clarify some crucial aspects like Authority to register such groups. This could lead District Administration to send approval requests to State Election Commission.
The State EC records show no prior to election registration of such groups. Six such forums applied for registration with district administration which begun its process from 16th December after said notification. The earlier Rules empowers State Election Commissions to register such groups and no declaration relating to this could lead further confusion amidst political circles for election of such groups. Meanwhile the first request filling Bhusawal Shahar Bachao Aghadi has received its State EC approval letter as registered Political party for Local elections.

ZP, Village Panchayat Elections: 18 Lakh Voters:
The Jalgaon District Council (ZP) and Village Panchayat elections are about to announce and hence District Administration is gearing up its preparations. Jalgaon District has 68 ZP groups and 136 blocks and 30th November 2006 has been treated as cut-off date for electoral roll. The final roll would be printed by 06th January 2007.
Chopda Taluka has 140,588, Yaval - 129,541, Raver - 148,560, MuktaiNagar - 91,769, Bodwad - 54,894, Bhusawal - 105,111, Jalgaon - 127,792, Dharangaon - 84,772, Amalner - 155,281, Parola - 104,334, Erandol - 78,813, Jamner - 180,963, Pachora - 137,708, Bhadgaon - 101,037 and Chalisgaon has 203,218 voters.

Bhusawal Municipal Council Election: 12 Forum members get Court Notice:
Bhusawal Municipal Council's 12 newly elected Shahar Bachao Aghadi members have been issued with Court Notice alleging malpractices in election process that lead to victory. The Opposition NCP has filed this application and has further urged Court to declare its candidates as winners for the same. The Court has sent summons to Election Authorities and would further hear this case today.
The District and Session Court Judge would further hear this case having high political importance for Bhusawal political accountability. Meanwhile the first request filling Bhusawal Shahar Bachao Aghadi has received its State EC approval letter as registered Political party for Local elections.

Buddha Conference today at Bhusawal:
The Maha-Bodhi Vihar Freedom Struggle Group conducted Buddha Conference is beginning today at Bhusawal's D. S. High school ground. Bihar's Governor would inaugurate this conference having top leaders from Buddha community. The conference would discuss and explore various recent developments.

20th December:
Mathematics Teacher Confederation State-level convention tomorrow at Jamner:
The State Mathematics Teacher Confederation is conducting its 28th State Convention at Jamner from 21st December. The three-day convention is joint effort of District Mathematics Teacher Mandal and District Secondary and Higher Secondary Association along with School Head Association. NMU VC would chair the event with many other dignitaries arriving in the event.
This Convention would also have various lectures and expert guidance of renowned Mathematics Teachers from across State with every school's just two student allowed to participate. Event also has Mathematical Models presented during the convention.

Khandesh History Council Convention at Pachora:
The Khandesh History Council is conducting its 13th State level two days convention beginning 24th December at Pachora. The inauguration ceremony would have presence of NMU VC, Deccan College Pune VC along with many other History experts. The two-session Convention is likely to explore Khandesh history with many invited authors and renowned History-experts arriving on the eve.

District first Villager's Day at Erandol:
The State Government's newly announced Villager's Day concept is beginning from 03rd January 2007 at Erandol. The Authorities are conducting Village Panchayat Head and Office bearer Training workshop on this aspect. Gram Sevak and Talathi remaining Secretary to the event would lead the Villager's Day. The State Authorities have further ordered appointment of "Village Parent Authority" with Divisional Agricultural Authority and upper level authorities as member to committee. The respective Tahsil would have special Control Units for such Villager's Day issues with Tahsildar remaining controller to activities.

District's 5 Taluka to get Residential Boarding Schools:
The State Government Social Justice Department is setting up Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Social Justice Bhavan at every District level in State. The Department has further proposed five Taluka places Government Residential schools for scheduled caste and tribe students. Jalgaon District's Bhusawal, Pachora, Raver, Chalisgaon and Chopda are likely five places for this activity. The Department is further searching 4 acres per Taluka space for setting up such school.

19th December:
District Police Boys conducted Football competition:

The Jalgaon District Police Boys conducted Seven a side football competition had Civil Electronics team winning final match defeating Bhusawal's eagle sports club. In all 26 teams participated in the competition. The final match had tougher competition with both teams scoring two goals each. The Referee availed one Penalty Stroke to each team to arrive at a conclusion. Both teams remained tie in this stroke. This led authorities to toss to decide winner. The toss favored Civil Electronics team.

Khandesh Package fund restarts Irrigation Projects:
The State Government has finally availed a hefty sum of Rs. 385 Crores for Khandesh region's prolonged Irrigation projects under its earlier announced Khandesh Package. The fund received is considered as one of effective yield of recent tie-ups of Khandesh MLA and senior leaders.
The Tapi Irrigation Development Authority has received this fund and has restarted Kamanitanda (Taluka: Jamner), Sarangkheda and Sulwade Barrage works. The 385 Crores fund includes 77 Crores for Jalgaon, 137 Crores for Dhule and 163 Crores for Nandurbar districts and the Authorities received this fund in April 2006. However, due to Monsoon season works could not pick up pace and have now started in November 2006. The Kamanitanda Project would be to be finished by June 2007 with a budget of 16 Crores. Amongst other project taken on swing are Shelgaon barrage project with 17 Crores, Anjani with 1.75 Crores, Mor with 6 Crores, and Mangrul with 1.5 Crores. The 32 Crores grant for such medium sized project would finish off these projects by June 2007 raising a new ray of hope for Jalgaonities.

District Administration suspends six blocks sand auction:
The Jalgaon District Administration has conducted auction of two blocks for sand collection while left six blocks. The Raver block sand was auctioned at 4.70 Lakhs (Reserved Price: 4.65 Lakhs) while Bhusawal sand was auctioned at 5.75 Lakhs (Reserved Price: Rs. 3.75 Lakhs).

Neve Community's National Meet on 24-25 December in Jalgaon:
The Neve Community Multi-Purpose Mandal is conducting two days National meet beginning 24th December. The meet would have youth introduction, community directory publishing, lectures on community issues, resolutions and other cultural activities with expected participation of around 1,500 community members.

Mega Marathon competition: Daniel Pawar and Swapnali Sonawane wins first prize:
The District Athletics Association and Maharashtra Olympics Association jointly conducted Mega Marathon competition had Daniel Pawar winning in men's category while Swapnali Sonawane winning in women in open category. Daniel finished off his race in 1.42.50 hours followed Anil Shaikh finishing in 1.46.12 and Sambhaji Patil winning third place. Swapnali completed her round in 56 minutes followed by Shweta Sonawane in 57.3 and Surekha Sadagi in 59 minutes. The competition also had Under 12, Under 15 and Under 18 Boys and Girls marathon.

Bhadgaon, Chalisgaon Taluka sugarcane awaits buyers:
The Girana dam most benefited Chalisgaon and Bhadgaon Taluka have shown remarkable sugarcane production this year taking full advantage of Girana dam touching 100% mark. These farmers are now waiting for buyers to avail them good pricing for this crop. Both Taluka do not have any running sugar factory and therefore farmers here have to wait for other-state or nearby sugar factories to procure their sugarcane. Attempts to rejuvenate Belganga this year have also failed. District's nearby region Sugar factories already getting fabulous cane inputs from their Taluka and/ or surrounding areas have not moved out to buy more.
The Bhadgaon Taluka had 938 hectares area under sugarcane cultivation this season with estimated sugarcane produces of 3 to 4 Lakh tones. There is a strong need of Co-operative sector and/ or administration to interfere and avail best solution to these farmers.

Jalgaon rated third throughout State in Talent search Exam:
The Maharashtra State Examination Council Pune and National Educational Research and Training Council New Delhi conducted National Talent Search Competition has Jalgaon District's as third top successful in District wherein State as top performer. Jalgaon's 6 students have received scholarship for academic year 2005-06 and student participation is increasing with every year.

17th December:
District Administration approves Independent Forums:

The Jalgaon District Administration has approved newly formed Development forums and groups as per recent Amendment notification from State Government dated 13 December. Registration of these independent groups "Aghadi" has now imposed Disqualification Act on all newly elected candidates. Jalgaon District's recent Municipal Council election results had six such independent groups gaining majority.
The Supreme Court decision leading to disqualification of such group elected with earlier registration could have led to disqualification of the entire group. The State Government later changed its Constitution and announced newer notification escaping such groups out of troubles.
The newly registered Independent groups are Shahar Bachao Aghadi at Bhusawal, Amalner, Pachora, Shahar Vikas Aghadi at Chopda, Parola and Dharangaon. This registration has now cleared all hurdles for election of president and group leaders.

"Avishkar" Research Presentation competition ends:
The North Maharashtra University Jalgaon conducted Research and Development promoting Avikshar 2006 has ended yesterday amidst enthusiastic schoolchildren participation to see exhibition of research projects. The competition had "Ecology Conservation" research projects and models demonstrated.

The State Government's recent decision to avail Rs. 1,500 per hectare special aid to cotton farmers is likely to increase rush at CCI Centre. The CCI is in plans to start eight more Centres to control this likely traffic. There are in all 18 CCI Centres functional as of now with mere 2500-quintal cotton procured in Nashik division. The Private buyers have taken up around 20 Lakh quintal cotton until now.

The 1098 Telephone Numbered Service is widely available throughout the Nation and is now active in Jalgaon District. The Jaipur District Administration has invited Jalgaon District Collector's ambitious River Linking project in its Water Conversation and Harvesting Council beginning from 18th December. He would practically demonstrate Project's plan and benefits thereof in this council.

State Drama Competition begins today:
The State Cultural Directorate conducted State Level Drama Competition is beginning today at Bal Gandharva Open Theatre with 13 teams participating in this event. This includes Jalgaon's 7, Bhusawal's two, Chalisgaon, Dhule's 2 and Jamner based institute teams. 50% of total earning of daily ticket sales would be equally distributed to participating teams.

16th December:
Divisional School-level Taekwondo Competition: 21 Gold, 8 Silver, 2 Bronze medals:

The Jalgaon District Team has outshined all other participating teams in Divisional School level Taekwondo competition played at Pimpalner (Dhule). District players won 21 Gold, 8 silver and 2 bronze medals. Competition had participation of over 300 players from Jalgaon, Dhule, Nandurbar, Nashik and Malegaon.

NMU to get Rs. 3.33 Crores for Buildings:
The State Government has availed special Grant of Rs. 3 Crores 33 Lakhs 45,000 rupees for various building development works. The University has received this Order and would shortly receive funds.
The proposed works include Post-Graduate Education Teaching Department, Teacher Building, Boys Hostel# 3, Sociology Department, Law Department totaling to five buildings.

District Youth festival on 21 December:
The State Sports and Youth Affairs Directorate are conducting District level Youth festival on 21 December at Nutan Maratha College Hall for 15 to 35 age group youth. Dhule, Nandurbar to be surveyed for Oil and Natural Gases:
The Central Government Petroleum and Natural Gases Ministry wide its Order has given its permission to survey Dhule and Nandurbar districts for possible Oil and Natural gases explorations. The survey work would begin in January Second week with State Industrial and Energy Works Department has also permitted this research work to an International Organisation. The process begins with soil survey of 3,155 square meters area combining Dhule and Nandurbar districts. The process continues with sampling of stones and natural minerals.
Both Dhule and Nandurbar districts are in upbeat with Four-lane Express Highway work at Dhule expected to boost and catalyse Industrial base of the District. Jalgaon District is yet to overcome its leadership differences and Jalgaonities expecting a new dawn of development is still a dream-run.

Municipal Council President Election on 26 December:
The State Government directive to conduct Council President Election meeting on working days has led to 26 December as final date for Council President and Vice-President Election. Existing Council president tenure is ending on 23 December, which is followed by 24 as Sunday and 25 as Christmas Holiday virtually leading to 26 as final date for meeting.

District's 77 farmer suicides in a year:
Financial burden and low productivity has led to suicide of 77 farmers in Jalgaon in last one year as on 10 December 2006. The District Administration has received such 77 families' requests for offering compensation for running life of those dependents on farmers. The Authorities have paid Rs. 1 Lakh each to 38 families and rejected 22 Applications found non-eligible for this compensation. The report further conveys 24 deaths in year 2004-05. This year beginning remained worst with most of deaths reported in April to September period.
The District Administration has formed a committee to monitor and assist families of farmers doing suicide as per State Government directives.

Corporation standing committee meeting review:
The Jalgaon Corporation standing committee meeting conducted yesterday dropped Water recycling and management extended funds request and finalise discussing use of Saint Gadge Baba cleanliness drive Award money utilization in next meeting. It discussed other five topics in broader aspect and approved all those topics.
The committee approved D.S.P. Chowk to Pitrusmriti Building Road, Shirsoli Naka Road paving and concreting work, chain-linked fencing in Garden at Vyankatesh Colony estimated at 3.96 Lakhs. The waste management remained most discussed issue as Corporation is expediting 62.83 Lakhs per month on waste management and is further expecting 74.86 Lakhs expenditure in smooth maintenance of system. It has proposed levying Rs. 5 to slum, 15 to houses, 40 from shopkeepers for this waste management.

Dharangaon Municipal Council Special Meeting today:
The Dharangaon Municipal Council's earlier called Special General Meeting scheduled on 03rd October earlier has been called for today. The meeting earlier called was cancelled following Election Code of Conduct introduced. The Meeting would be chaired by Outgoing Council President and would have 45 topics on its agenda.

The Research activities encouraging Paper Presentation Contest Avishkar 2006 is beginning today in Leva Boarding Hall. This NMU hosted event's Inaugural ceremony would have MKCL chief as Chief Guest along with NMU VC, University of Calgary Prof. Dr. K. Varadrajan as Chief Guests.
The Concluding ceremony is on Saturday, 16th December at 4PM with BCUD Director, NMU VC and other guests. The NMU called requests for Paper Presentation in 6 different categories and finally has 56 in presentation format, 28 in research model format, 45 in verbal/ oral presentation totaling to 129 with participation of 250 students.

Dengue patient detected in Chunchale (Chopda):
A Private practicing Doctor has reported 55 years aged Dengue positive patient in Chunchale village of Chopda Taluka. The patient was found positive to Serology test conducted by Aurangabad's renowned hospital. Patient is under treatment and is feeling comfortable now. The village has mosquitoes and insects as main entry of such deadly diseases. The Authorities earlier reported another patient from Akulkheda in Chopda Taluka having found positive to Dengue viral fever.

Nationwide Government employees Strike today:
The Labour Associations called today's nationwide Government employees strike has received wide support in Jalgaon with many of its allied associations supporting today's strike. The District State Government Employees Association, State Primary Teacher Committee, State Gramsevak Union, State Teacher's Council, Bank of India Employees Union, Engineering Association, ZP Confederation, District Co-operative Board, Malaria Removal Employees Association, Gazetted Officers Confederation and Other-than Teaching Employees Association have expressed their support to today's strike.
The wide support is expected to paralyse Government and State functionalities throughout the district with Banks also likely to suffer. The strike is being called mainly to protest Government's changing policies on increasing Dearness Allowance dues, demanding change of policies to control inflation, stop privatisation, remove Government-jobs recruitment imposition, announce Social Security and Government jobs to unorganised sectors, stop foreign investments, remove ban on strike Act and many such demands. The Indian Labour Council and its allied member organisations are not participating in today's strike.

Fire in Shoes manufacturing unit in Bhusawal: Losses worth 38 Lakhs estimated:
A private plastic Industry manufacturing shoes and allied footwear products caught fire yesterday in Co-operative Industrial estate at Bhusawal. The Fire brigade authorities took 5 hours time and 15 fire fighters to control this fire reported and found incurred due to electricity short circuit. The Primary reports estimates around 38 Lakhs losses due to this fire.

Jalgaon District farmers have completed around 83% Rubby cultivation in-spite of delayed winter effect this year. The Agricultural Authorities are estimating considerable increase in Wheat and Corn produces this year. Every year around 120,000 hectares Rubby cultivation is done in Jalgaon District of which 100,558 hectares have been completed until now.

District Business Confederation Proposed Business strike today:
The entire Jalgaon city (Corporation area) is likely to remain closed today following Jalgaon District Business Confederation's support to State Federation of Associations of Maharashtra demanding removal of Octroi by all terms before 15th December throughout the State. All Trader Associations have expressed their support to this strike and emergency services have been excluded from it. District's 125 traders have moved to Nagpur for participation in Protest march to State Assembly for immediate removal of Octroi Tax.
The Federation and Traders are demanding immediate removal of Octroi tax levied on Goods entry in Corporation limits following State Government's assurance of removal after successful implementation of Value Added Tax (VAT). The State Government Sales Tax Department reports has evaluated more than 20% growth in revenue collection by State Government after VAT implementation. State Government's biggest agony is how to fund Corporations if this tax is removed and unless some stronger mechanism is formed, it would result in total collapse of local works on Corporation levels as this tax remains major funding resource.

Business Confederation announces Strike on Monday:
The Jalgaon District Business Confederation has announced its support to Federation of Associations of Maharashtra for a day Octroi Protest strike in Corporation areas on Monday, 11th December. All supportive Trade associations have announced their full support to this strike. State Traders are taking a protest march to State assembly in Nagpur demanding State Government to withdraw Octroi in any terms before 15th December.
As a result, Jalgaon city's entire business areas like Dana Bazaar, Polan Peth and markets are expected to remain closed tomorrow.

"Focus on Agriculture-based produces need of time" evokes Tapi Region Development Council:
The Tapi Region Development council was inaugurated yesterday amidst cheerful presence of many water experts and agricultural authorities. The inaugural lecture stressed more on improving India's overall Agricultural based produces along with nice balance of water management and improving agricultural knowledge.
The council inauguration had Konkan Agricultural University VC along with Water Experts and Satpuda Sugar factory head and many other dignitaries. The two-days long conference would further discuss Tapi River related issues and developmental aspects. Tapi river region and Satpuda region are primarily agricultural dominated and based areas and do not have any major business/ industrial setup as such. Environment, Water and Land remains three major assets of people living in this region for bread earning and hence there is a strong need of fine balancing of such resources.

Jalgaon's Teacher Pratibha Chaudhari receives National Honor:
Bahinabai Secondary School teacher Pratibha Baburao Chaudhari has received "Best Teacher 2006" award from Government of India Ministry of Human Resources and Unicef under Adult Literacy Drive and for Aids Removal Services and educating youth on AIDS related issues.

09th December:
Workshop on Dr. Ambedkar Economics Philosophy in Jalgaon:

The Arunodaya Mandal in joint association with Dr. G. D. Bendale College is conducting a Workshop on Dr. Ambedkar Economics Philosophy. The Central Railways Bhusawal Division M.O.H. M. J. College Watershed Surveillance Research Institute conducted International Workshop on Hotspot Geo-informatics:
The M. J. College Watershed Surveillance Research Institute is conducting an International Workshop on Digital Governance and Hotspot Geo-informatics for Monitoring, Etiology, Early Warning and sustainable Management from 11th December. Khandesh native and distinguished Professor of Mathematical and Environmental Statistics in the Department of Statistics at the Pennsylvania State University Prof. G. P. Patil is Chief Organiser of this event.
The Workshop aims at statistical geo-informatics and software infrastructure for spatial and spatiotemporal hotspot detection, prioritization, early warning and sustainable management. Hotspot means an unusual phenomenon, anomaly, aberration, outbreak, elevated cluster and critical area. The responsible factors may be natural, accidental or intentional. The five-year NSF DGP project has been instrumental to conceptualize hotspot geo-informatics partnership of several interested cross-disciplinary scientists in academia, agencies and private sector around the world.
The 10 days Workshop aims at exploring avenues in watershed surveillance with 45 to 50 scholars in the field expected to attend the eve. The first three days would have actual surveillance related presentations and discussions followed by clearing up hurdles and issues in achieving this aim.

Tapi Region Development Council today at Shahada:
The Sane Guruji Vidya Prasarak Mandal and Satpuda Co-operative Sugar factory are jointly organizing two days Tapi Region Development and Management Council at Shahada. Bhusawal Violence: Court rejects bail pleas:
The Bhusawal Violence on Monday, 04th December has its case ringing in Court. The Bhusawal Police yesterday took two more for inquiry into violence while 21 arrested earlier were presented in Court. The Court continued Judicial Custody of 20 and Police Custody of one in this case. Meanwhile the District Parent Minister is arriving today in Bhusawal to assess post-violence scenario.

08th December:
Kalpesh Chaudhari tops in State in Pre-Elementary Exam:
R. R. School Class VI student Kalpesh Shirish Chaudhari has secured first rank in Tilak Maharashtra University conducted Pre-Elementary Examination. He secured 94 out of 100 marks in this exam.

Sports week from 12th December:
The District Sports Authority conducted Sports week is beginning from 12th December until 18th December. The week would have various sporting competitions at various schools. The festive begins with inauguration on 12th at ZP Vidya Niketan School followed by Cultural Dance Competition on 13th at Lunkad School, Drawing competition for Under-19 boys and girls on 14th December at Urdu High School, Kabbadi competition for Under-17 category at Kolhe School. Corporation standing committee meeting review:
The Jalgaon City Municipal Corporation standing committee meeting yesterday approved various topics on its agenda. The committee unanimously decided to appoint private party for preparation of City Development Plan (CDP) at Rs. 8 Lakhs cost estimate. It also approved construction work in Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukhrjee Garden worth Rs. 1.01 Lakh, construction of gutters in Ward# 1 all 12 units estimated at Rs. 1.42 Lakhs under MLA funds, construction of gymnasium Hall in Open Space in Mehrun worth Rs. 9.28 Lakhs. It also approved Repairing of 400KVA Transformer at Dapora Pumping Station worth Rs. 1.40 Lakhs, Gutter work in Ward#5 worth Rs. 5.44 Lakhs, boundary wall in Crematorium in Ward#9 along with repair works of old public toilets worth Rs. 13.03 Lakhs. The body approved 24 topics on its agenda.

ZP reservations: 23 out of 68 seats reserved for Ladies:
The ZP Administration drew a lot to finalise reservation on its seats for upcoming Five years. Under new reservation system 23 out of 68 seats have now been reserved for ladies candidates along with ZP President Post reserved for Scheduled Caste candidate.

The State Gazette today is likely to carry list of 292 newly elected and won councilors in 12 Municipal Councils from Jalgaon District. This include 47 from Bhusawal, 33 from Bhusawal and Chalisgaon each, 27 from Chopda, 25 from Pachora, 20 from Parola, 19 from Dharangaon and Yaval each, 18 from Erandol and 17 each from Raver, Savda, Faizpur.

Bhusawal curfew taken off: City turns normal:
The Monday afternoon begun violent turnout leading to imposing Curfew in Bhusawal city has been finally taken off after a period of 37 hours at 5PM yesterday evening. The District Administration issued this Order yesterday with tight vigil and patrolling still underway in sensitive areas. Most of the shops and offices were opened up yesterday evening and all schools and educational institutions will open from today.
The Administration has estimated around Rs. 10 Crores transactions losses during these 37 hours at Financial and Trade Institutions. The Curfew began on Monday, 04th December night 9PM and continued until Wednesday, 06th December 5PM. Police have arrested 62 in this case until now and has formed three core groups to find out more in this connection. The Nashik Regional Inspector General of Police is arriving today in Bhusawal to assess post-violence situation. The District Police Authority has transferred 19 Policeman from Bhusawal and relocated others in place.

District Business Confederation plans agitation against Octroi:
The Jalgaon District Business Confederation in accordance with State Octroi Removal Committee guidelines has planned for agitation and protest against Octroi Tax levied in Corporation areas today. It is also awaiting State unit directives on proposed a day Strike on 11th December.

Railway Mail Service (RMS) Employees on strike:
The Railway Mail Service (RMS) Employees under Bhusawal Division in Class-3 and Class-4 groups have moved to indefinite strike from 04th December for their demands. This has led to huge pending queues of mails at Railway Stations. Around 500 employees from Bhusawal Division are participating in this strike. Their demands include departmental Inquiries against Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent on alleged work styles.

06th December:
State Human Rights Commission President in Jalgaon on 10th December:
S. S. Maniyar Law College Jalgaon is conducting a Seminar on eve of Human Rights Day on 10th December. The State Human Rights Commission President and Member are arriving in this event to deliver lecture on "Human Rights Protection Laws". The event would also have participation of District Collector, District Superintendent of Police, District Bar Association President and KCE society Board members. Curfew continues in Bhusawal: Situation tensed but under full control:
The District Administration continued its Curfew imposition on Bhusawal city for second day. The curfew imposed on Monday night 9PM continued throughout the day on Tuesday and continues today. Meanwhile the Bhusawal Session Court has sent 48 arrested to Police Custody until 10th December. The Curfew was relaxed from morning 6AM until 8AM for buying necessities. The District Police has estimated losses worth Rs. 33 Lakhs due to this violence. Meanwhile the State Transport Authority has announced no Buses for Bhusawal route until situation normalise.
Meanwhile the Bhusawal Police has begun its intense combing operation to trace out the anti-social elements that drove violence on Monday. The Bhusawal City Police has registered two, Bazaar Peth Police has registered 14 and others have registered three F. I. R. until now. This includes more than 100 offenders having booked under attempt to loot, attack, burn down, murder like severe sections. The Police have also planned to request to cancel Arms holding licenses of those indulged in these cases.
Meanwhile the District Collectorate is also reviewing Legalities of resolutions passed on 04th December meeting of Bhusawal council based on request filed by Jalgaon's two persons. The request further states that as Councilors did not received any copies of last meeting minutes in 04th December meeting, the District Authority should also cancel and void the 21st September Special meeting conducted by Bhusawal Council's body.
The District Administration has urged Jalgaonities to maintain Law and Order Situation and help Police in maintaining Order. The Administration has further reported that in all 63 suspects in violence have been arrested and 37 have been injured in violence with 10 under treatment at district Civil Hospital.

NMU reschedules examinations following Bhusawal Curfew:
The North Maharashtra University Jalgaon has rescheduled its Bachelor of E-Commerce, M.C.M. and Engineering all year's examinations earlier scheduled for 06th and 07th December following Curfew imposition in Bhusawal.
All papers earlier planned for 06th December would now be on 10th December and those of 07th December would be on 17th December on same timing. The University Administration seeing possibility of strike of teachers under its affiliated Colleges has rescheduled 14th December paper to 24th December. All exam papers other than those specified above for today and tomorrow would remain as it is.

Pitch on Democracy: Curfew imposed in Bhusawal city:
The Bhusawal Municipal Council Special Meeting witnessing sudden differences on a certain project led to violent turnaround in the council hall. The Angry protestors supporting Shahar Bachao Aghadi (SBA) demonstrated their rage by burning down, damaging various at various locations in Bhusawal city. The protestors condemning attacks by opposition NCP councillors later damaged NCP Bhusawal Unit head Bungalow and burnt down his owned Hotel as well. The entire story led to severe injuries to 23 councillors, supporters that include SBA City Head and his 4 councillors along with local activists. The Bhusawal Police has arrested 63 persons from both sides that include leader of NCP and booked 10 in various complaints. The District Collectorate has immediately imposed Curfew from 9PM in night until 6AM today morning. Many of the injured have been moved to District Civil Hospital in Jalgaon and senior leaders arrested in this connection have been shifted to Jilha Peth Police Station Custody in Jalgaon.
The entire story began around 11.30AM with start of Council meeting followed by differences during discussion on around 12:05PM followed by chairs thumping on 12:10PM and pelting in Council campus. The violence news spread like a rocket and entire market was closed in next few minutes. The NCP supporters later followed stone pelting on Modern Road. The supporters of Councillors facing bleeding in beating and pelting turned agitated and deadly violent that started counter attacks in form of stone pelting and burning down counter parties ownerships.
The District Police Senior Authorities arrived at locations on around 13:15PM and took immediate control of whole scene moving out spread using force. Later Tahsil Authorities and District Collectorate reached Bhusawal and visited all sites.
The Authorities announced immediate closure of all Educational Institutions since city yesterday until further notice. It had further ordered CID enquiry into this entire probe. This is for first time in last 20 years that the city has Curfew imposed following violence all around.
All outbound road traffic has been halted to avoid any of violent turnouts and as a result, Bhusawal people are facing lot of troubles in reaching their destinations. The State Transport again remained soft target for agitating protestors that damaged buses front mirrors by stone pelting.

Corporation announces City Development Plan Contract:
The Jalgaon City Municipal Corporation has announced awarding of Contract for formulating City Development Plan (CDP) for Jalgaon city to Group SSE. The Plan aims at formulating vision document on Best Administration, Ample Outer investments, higher quality Basic Infrastructure resources and productivity cost. The Process has Data Collection and Analysis phase, Vision Plan, Strategy Phase and Plan Project with both strengths and weakness taken in to consideration. The plan also aims at removing huge number of 25,000+ slums in Jalgaon city in Tambapur and such regions by availing suitable and best facilities.
The plan further aims at making Mehrun Lake as attractive Tourism Place with suitable support to build up good Industrial base. The corporation is likely to sign up formal agreement with this agency in shorter span.

The 52nd State level Ball Badminton competition has ended up yesterday with Buldhana boys and Pune Girls winning their respective category matches. The Gadchiroli boys and Amravati Girls remained runner up in the competition while Wardha boys and Yavatmal girls stood third.

ZP Elections: Environment heats up on exploring political mandate:
The Jalgaon District has witnessed revolutionary change in recent Municipal Council Elections. The unexpected sudden change has led to Politics above Party concept with region's senior leaders tying up together. Jalgaon District's Village Panchayat and District Council are undergoing elections in January. All political parties have begun their preparations for this upcoming election.
The BJP-Shivsena alliance is ruling with majority on ZP since last 5 years and the period ahead could prove crucial for overall fate of district with exact scenario of alliances being cleared. The Khandesh Development forum like concepts if clicked well could reshape entire politics in region.

Peace committee meets in Jalgaon:
The Jalgaon District Police yesterday conducted a meeting of district peace committee having participation of leaders of all regions and communities. The District Police has urged all community heads to following approach revolution by respecting National Laws framework and preservation of National and Private Property in protesting against disgrace issues.
The Meeting had participation of various Ambedkar fellow community heads. The Police also condemned disgracing National figures like Ambedkar effigies and urged Community fellows to take their feelings to State Home Ministry and Central Home Ministry instead of following violent path. The violent turnout and terror continued to panic Jalgaonities with most of violent routes not getting public transportation system. The State Transport authorities denied restarting the services on such routes unless they receive written assurances from such groups. As a result, there is no City Bus Service to Asoda, Bhadli, Shelgaon, Sujade, Bholane region paralysing routine works of common people. The Raver Taluka also witnessed stone pelting on many State Transport buses. The activists have announced Bodwad closed today to protest this issue.

Ashwamedh 2006: 10 Universities unable to register even a single medal:
The North Maharashtra University Jalgaon conducted 10th Inter-University Sports competition has ended. The competition had 10 out of 19 participating Universities teams not getting even a single medal in their category matches, which includes host NMU team. Out of 108 medals, the Mumbai, Kolhapur and Pune Universities took away 79 medals dominating the entire Ashwamedh series. Out of total 36 gold medals, these three universities took away 29 medals.
The Bharti University Pune had 41 participating players, lowest of all teams while host NMU and Tukdoji University Nagpur both had 116 players, highest of all. Out of total 1700 players, 292 were in Athletics, 320 in Basketball, 346 in Kabbadi, 370 in Kho-Kho and 473 in Volleyball. In all 931 boys and 769 girls participated in various competitions.

Corporation to inaugurate new Water supply lines in Ward# 4:
The Jalgaon City Municipal Corporation is inaugurating new water supply distribution lines tomorrow in ward#4. The new line laying would benefit Tanaji Malsure Nagar, Dinkar Nagar, Gurudatta Colony, Old Jalgaon, Extended Jalgaon areas. The new 12-Inches and 6-Inches line lying would ease water supply in these regions.
The Corporation Administration is also expected to come up with its Performa Annual Budget for upcoming year within next fortnight

02nd December:
200% raining fails to fulfil 246 villages water needs:
The Jalgaon District witnessing 200% raining has failed to fulfil water needs of 246 villages. District's 246 villages from 14 Taluka (excluding Yaval) are likely to face water shortage in coming times. The District Council (ZP) has submitted this report to District Administration with estimated 90 Lakhs expenditure.
Last year district had 70% raining and 603 villages faced water shortage during intense summer. The newly submitted proposal has 280 various schemes to overcome this shortage with 39 new and 50 old well repairs and 36 villages to get tanker water supply. The Plan also suggests 142 private well acquisitions to smooth conduct supply.
Ashwamedh 2006 ends with grand prize distribution:
The 10th Ashwamedh 2006 Inter-University Sports competition ended yesterday with grand prize distribution ceremony and a special message to NMU teams to practice hard to gain success in such competitions. The mega event had Bharti University VC, Association of Indian Universities President (Ex-NMU VC), Yashwantrao Chavan Open University VC, NMU'S founder VC and many other local MLA and politicians.
The Pune University team was overall Best Performer winning first Grand Prize Trophy of the competition breaking Mumbai University's dream of scoring third consecutive win. Mumbai University won runner up Award followed by Shivaji University Kolhapur getting Third Place. NMU Jalgaon host team won Award for Best Pedestrian conduct.
The grand prize distribution ended with 3,000 participating players and local students taking oath for being AIDS free with best practices. The Aids awareness Rally went throughout the city. Mumbai University's Sushant Bangera receives Best Athletics Player wining 4 Gold Medals while Shivaji University Kolhapur Player Pragnya Patil won the same award in Girls category. District's 28 buses face damages in violent turnout protesting Dr. Ambedkar effigy disgrace in Kanpur:
The violent turnout and protests continued throughout Jalgaon District on recent Dr. Ambedkar effigy disgrace in Kanpur. A group of protestors attempted stone pelting in Jalgaon and tried to burn down public transporting vehicles. Bhusawal city witnessed strong rage with State Transport buses remaining soft target. The District Police continued its combing and security spread operations with Police patrolling at sensitive areas. Nearby Dhule District also went on strong protest with all shops remaining closed. The State Transport has established Control Unit at Jalgaon and has stopped Malkapur route bus service following attempts of burning buses on that route. It has further instructed all Bus drivers, conductors to take help of Village Panchayat head, Office, Police to overcome such situation if arrived.

Corporation planning committee meeting review:
The Jalgaon City Municipal Corporation Planning committee met yesterday to discuss various topics on its agenda. The Committee has instructed City Town Planning Department to sanction construction and development proposals within 15 days of receipt. The committee urged department to convey errors collectively if any to the party to avoid work repetition and speed up process. Amongst other discussions included appointing Head to Open Land Department, excluding light tax on open plots in case if the owner has not installed any lighting instruments, following up revised DC Rules with State Authorities, correcting Construction Approval form, conducting town planning department meeting every 15 days etc.
The Corporation has received fabulous response for Chowk decorating by private parties. The Corporation administration has urged these parties to submit its entire plan for decorating Chowk within 10 days.

Showery Raining adds to weather chill:
Whole Khandesh region witnessed showery raining yesterday evening that chilled weather further. Jalgaon City, Bhusawal, Chalisgaon, Raver, Amalner and Chopda Taluka have reported raining in showery to lower form. The sudden raining could result in various forms of microbes on standing Rubby Crop. Jalgaon city had cloudy weather right from morning.

State Traders announces strike on 11th December protesting Octroi:
The Federation of Association of Maharashtra (FAM) has announced a day protest strike of all traders throughout the State in Corporation ruling areas. The Federation has widest support of all its member trader organisations from almost all districts. Federation's Octroi Removal Committee yesterday met and announced this decision considering upcoming elections in various Municipal Corporations.

Ashwamedh 2006 ends today:
The North Maharashtra University Jalgaon conducted Ashwamedh 2006 Inter-University Competition is ending today with grand prize distribution and concluding ceremony at 3.30PM with State Deputy Chief Minister, District Parent Minister, Arjun Award Winner Dhanraj Pilley as chief guests in the ceremony. The University is also publishing an Ashwamedh Memorial journal today.
The Ceremony begins with grand AIDS Awareness rally from G. S. ground early in the morning with all players attending it.

State Badminton competition inauguration today:
The Jalgaon District Badminton Association and Krida Bharati jointly conducted 52nd Junior Boys and Girls State Badminton competition is beginning today in Jalgaon at Eklavya Sports complex in M. J. College.
The Authorities earlier announced Jalgaon Team for this competition. Nutan Maratha College's Jayant Jadhav and Madhuri Chaudhari would lead their respective category team.

Mumbai Boys and Pune Girls win Kabbadi in Ashwamedh 2006 competition:
The Mumbai boys and Pune girls have won their respective category Kabbadi final match. The Mumbai boys defeated Kolhapur's Shivaji University while Pune Girls defeated Mumbai girls. Pune won third rank in Boys and Kolhapur won third in girl's category.
The Swami Ramanand Tirth Unviersity Nanded defeated Shivaji Kolhapur to win first rank in Volleyball. The Shivaji University Kolhapur girls defeated Saint Gadgebaba girls to win girls category title. Marathwarda Univesity boys and Pune University girls won third rank.
The Mumbai University Boys won Ground competitions by security 6 gold, 9 silver and 3 bronze medals followed by Pune getting 2 Gold, 1 silver and 5 bronze medals while Shivaji Kolhapur won 5 medals in all to secure third rank.
The Pune University boys and girls also won Basketball titles by defeating Mumbai boys and Saint Tukdoji Nagpur girls.

Corporation General Body Meeting review:
The Jalgaon City Municipal Corporation General body meeting has approved change of reservation of Sports complex to residential one in Mehrun Shivar along with backward community reforms programmes, Golden Jubilee Scheme. It dropped backward community special recruitment drive topic following the factor that this topic has moved to Court for further hearing. The body expressed its distress over Corporation Administration not preparing Daily Collection Contract documents since last 6 months.

Dr. Ambedkar effigy disgrace issue: Khandesh turns violent:
The entire Khandesh region witnessed blowing violence in many regions on grounds of Kanpur Dr. Ambedkar effigy disgrace. The major places witnessing violent turnout were Jalgaon, Amalner, Chopda, Raver, Asoda, Nandurbar, Dhule and Shindkheda. The State Transport buses remained soft target for protestors.
Jalgaon District's 17, Dhule's 5, 2 in Nandurbar, and Shindkheda's one bus front mirrors were broken yesterday. All 3 district Police have tighten up securities in sensitive areas and are continuously monitoring situation. The District Police also called meeting of City Peace committee and urged members to help Police in maintaining Law and Order Situation throughout the region.
