09th February:
Boost up the Business and Industrial Growth:
Since last year, Jalgaon is facing slack business and Industrial movement. This movement rise mainly due to no-new job opportunities from Industries and lowering of business throughout the region. Jalgaon's top-most industries even faced strong financial crisis and are still recovering themselves from the hole.
On other hand, strong market competition is making our industries hard to survive. Marketing competition mainly seen in cost is unbeatable from Jalgaon big bosses as Jalgaon's basic cost of living is much higher as compared to population and Income. An average person has to spend at least 50-80 rupees in fulfilling his daily requirements like food, dressing, social taxes and other expenditure. This all the way makes him demand more on his payment side. An average employer now a day pays around 2000-3000 rupees per month as minimum payment for employee. Another important issue is power supply and lake of basic facilities. Power supply day-by-day is becoming unstable and high-cost resulting in higher production cost. With lowest and zero-level basic facilities, a production unit has to pay more than 100 rupees to bring a 1000 litre water supply tank. If we remember last summer, we will see list of hundreds of pages of people becoming millionaire just by supplying Water tanks.
Therefore, the only area where an employer can save remains Government taxation. This view day-by-day is resulting in more unofficial business transactions and harder Government policies to tackle with the scene. Why not local Government think of these facts and try to provide the best of basic facilities like Water, Roads, and Power Supply etc? It is hard to describe status of Industries facing a timid time to make their survivals.
We have good geographical location advantage, we have good business links, and the best brains to operate business, what we miss are basic facilities to convert these efforts into hard cash?
An average person is becoming more uncertain about his financial future. The increasing life risk is changing "Ham do Hamara EK" principle and now people are going further for 2/3 and even 4. It is strange to see this change. How could this young generation earn money, remains the frequent asked question?
Why public is made to beg for basic facilities? Let the summer come, we will see queues of our Ladies waiting hours for drinking water. The 40+ Thermometer makes it harder to grab.
